The BFG

The BFG is a book about a giant who captures a Sophie, a little girl. The BFG keeps her in a cave.
I think the BFG is a good book because it is an adventurous book.
My favourite character is the Blood Bottler because he is the strongest.
This book reminds my of when my brother fights with me.
I think every one would like this book.

At Port Charles

On Tuesday, after school, we drove to Port Charles. It took us three hours and 25 minutes to get there.
When we got to the batch, Hunter was asleep, but I woke him up. He looked around and said, "Where am I?"
We all said, "Port Charles."
At 5 o'clock, the Beethams turned up. Flynn and Regan jumped out and said, "Let's go to the maze," and I answered. "Yes."

I Am The Winner

When I was 8 years old, our school had an Athletics Day. We all competed in lots of events, like High Jump, Long Jump, Vortex, Shot Put, Discus and Sprints.
First, all the children lined up in their houses. It was a sunny day. Everyone was laughing and talking. When Mr K put his hand up, it went silent.  Mr K said some words. After that, we marched around the field. I was feeling nervous.
After we had walked around the field, we all ran to our events.
Next, we ran over to shot put. My age group had to line up so Mrs Kerr-Bell could get our names. The shot put was round and blue. When I threw the shot put, it spun through the air. There were lines for our marks.
Finally, we walked over to vortex. The vortex was green and orange. It had a nose like a plane. When we threw the vortex, it spun in the air. The vortex went as high as the sky.
It was a fun day, but I was very tired when I got home from school that afternoon.

King Arthur's Castle

Mrs Death read us the story of King Arthur, then we used three different pieces of paper and combined them to show what his castle looked like.

In the Desert

Jakey was a man who liked to wear hats, go exploring like hunting, and parachuting.
One day, Jakey was wearing black pants, a white top and a cowboy hat with a twenty two shot gun with gold bullets. His jet pilot was named Jack. He was wearing a pilot suit. The pilot was flying so fast that Jakey fell out of the jet and fell into a hot desert. He found a coin in his pocket and said, “Tails go right and heads go left.”
The coin landed on tails so he walked right.
In an hour, he came to a mountain. He walked to the top of the mountain and he came to a big waterfall.

He saw some people under a shelter.   He asked how they got there.
The people said, “By helicopter.”
Jakey asked if he could have a ride home.
They said yes.
